The shortcodes generated from each design can be places in any hook available, both in standard as well as custom hooks or directly in the code. There are a couple of different approaches that you can take in order to place your shortcode.

1. Using Widgets

One technique is to use widgets. Start by adding a text widget to the position where you would like the recommendations to be displayed. Then paste the shortcode and press "save".

You can also use the "live editor" and add the shortcode directly at the positions where you would like the recommendations to be displayed.

2. Using the shortcode block in page builder

2a) Copy the shortcode that you would like to use

2b) Open the page, in page builder, where you would like the recommendations to be displayed

2c) Add a shortcode block to the page in the position where you would like the recommendations to be displayed

2d) Paste the shortcode into the block and publish the page

3. Put the shortcode directly into the code

Open up the Them editor and place the shortcode directly into the code where you would like it to be executed. It should be written in the following format,

<?php echo do_shortcode('[name_of_shortcode]'); ?>

or if using default theme

<?php echo do_shortcode('[zlt_default limit=4 columns=4 header="You may also like"]'); ?>

4. Product Page - WooCommerce standard hooks

For product recommendations on product page there is a functionlity within engage where the user can directly from a drop down list deploy the recommendation design to be outputted in the position of the WooCommerce standard hooks.

Please note, that the possibility to output the product recommendations using standard hooks may vary between different themes. This means that you need to test and make sure that the selected hook gives the desired result.
